Have you ever seen a piano?
A piano is a wonderful musical instrument with black and white keys.
When someone presses a key, the piano makes a beautiful sound.
Some sounds are high.
Some sounds are low.
Every key has its own special voice.
The piano can play happy songs.
It can play quiet songs.
It can even play exciting songs that make you want to dance.
People use both hands to play.
One hand plays some notes.
The other hand plays different notes.
Together they make beautiful music.
Inside every piano are tiny hammers.
When you press a key, a little hammer taps a string.
The string begins to shake.
That shaking makes music.
You cannot always see it, but it is happening every time.
Some people play the piano at home.
Some play in schools.
Others play on big stages in front of many people.
No matter where it is played, the piano fills the room with wonderful music.
Maybe one day you will press the keys and play your own song.
